Once a diagnosis of cancer is made, time becomes the most critical factor.  This is true both for medical reasons and because of the severe strain that a diagnosis puts on the patient.  At the Oncology Center of Central Baltimore every effort is made to see new patients within 24 hours.  Medical treatment specific to your cancer diagnosis, information on resources for cancer patients, support for the burden of cancer, and financial counseling can all be made part of your treatment plan usually within two to three days of your call.
