Clinical trials are an important resource towards providing the most state of the art treatments for our patients.  A clinical trial is a comparison test, usually of a new medication, treatment, or procedure.  Clinical trials vary in size from small trials working with just one or two doctors, to much larger programs involving multiple hospitals.  The links below takes patients to an important clearinghouse for clinical trial information.  This allows patients to look for clinical trials that fit their current diagnosis.  Patients are encouraged to consult with their doctor from The Cancer Center of Central Baltimore if they find information they believe pertains to their current situation.
