One important aspect of cancer treatment at The Oncology Center of Central Baltimore is to bring our patients into the community of cancer patients and survivors.  One way we do this is by informing our patients of events taking place in the oncology community.  Some of these events are sponsored by or associated with The Oncology Center of Baltimore.  Others are events taking place in the community which we feel are of value to our patients and their families.  Inquiries are welcomed regarding any of the upcoming events listed below.

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
This past year alone, the Oncology Center of Central Baltimore raised over $40,000 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. That was the third lagest amount of money raised raised in the Baltimore area, beating out every other hospital in the region. Since we started doing the race, we have raised almost $500,000 for the organization. Several years back, the Oncology Center of Central Maryland started wearing shirts to promote our team and the race. Since then, team based T-Shirts have become a big hit. Who knew that we would start a trend for others to follow.
